No, this is not powdered instant coffee or a coffee premix; however, it is as quick and hassle-free to brew. So, you can now enjoy premium specialty coffee without any equipment. All you need is a cup and some hot water.

We suggest that you don't. To ensure optimal extraction and best flavours, we recommend brewing with hot water. You may then add milk to the resulting brew to taste after removing the filter from the cup. We suggest adding milk slowly and tasting until the preferred results are achieved.

All Easy Pour sachets are nitrogen-flushed to preserve freshness for up to 9 months from the date of manufacturing. If you've received a box with less than 3 months left until expiry, please send your order details to getcoffee@bluetokaicoffee.com (along with a photo showing the manufacturing date) so that we can arrange a replacement for you.

Each Easy Pour filter contains 11 grams of ground coffee, which brews a 180-200 ml cup of coffee.

Yes, we have used the same coffee from our partner farms that we use in our retail packs of roasted and ground coffee. The roasting profile we use is also the same.

No. Each filter is designed for single use and brews one cup of coffee.

Nitrogen flushing is a technique used in food packaging to remove oxygen from the pack and prevent oxidation and degradation. By using this method, we can increase the longevity of our coffee and preserve freshness for 6 months. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, odourless, and food-safe inert gas. It is abundantly present in the atmosphere (we breathe it daily and are doing so right now) and does not react with the coffee or affect its flavour in any way.

Our Easy Pour filters are made with a fully biodegradable material, allowing you to conveniently discard used filters in the same bin designated for other wet waste.

The filters are made using food-grade paper.
