We’re sorry for the inconvenience! While new coffees are usually added upon release, some may be missed. Please email us at getcoffee@bluetokaicoffee.com with the coffee you'd like to order with the French Press, and we’ll find a solution for you.
While we don’t list these parts separately, we do stock spares for the Blue Tokai French Press. If you need a replacement, email us at getcoffee@bluetokaicoffee.com, and we’ll send you a payment link for the required part.
Yes,you can make a single cup! Just adjust the coffee and water quantities according to the recommended ratio. We suggest plunging 30 seconds early to give the grounds extra time to settle before pouring. Pour slowly and steadily to avoid disturbing the coffee bed for a cleaner cup.
The plunger is designed to stop above the base to prevent coffee grounds from being compressed. If it reached the bottom, it would force fine particles through the mesh, leading to a muddy brew. This gap does not affect the extraction process—your coffee will still retain all its flavors and oils.

A coarse grind works best. If you don’t have a grinder at home, select the "French Press grind" option when placing your order.
Follow these simple steps:
- Add 50-70 g of coarsely ground coffee to your French Press.
- Pour in 500 ml of room-temperature water.
- Stir gently with a wooden spoon to ensure all the coffee is saturated.
- Place the plunger on top (without pressing) and let it steep for 12-24 hours at room temperature.
- Press the plunger down, pour the cold brew over ice, and enjoy!
You can use a French Press to froth milk. Watch this short video to learn how: YouTube Link.
We don’t recommend reusing spent coffee grounds, as they’ve already been extracted and will produce a weak, bland brew. However, here are somecreative ways to repurpose them.
