Known for its gentle slopes, rich soil and bountiful rainfall, Stanmore Estate is one of the 7 estates that belong to the MSP Coffee Group and is located in the centre of the best growing zone of the Shevaroy Hills. The estate has plenty of shade trees such as a mixed canopy of native Shola, Fig, Jackfruit, Jamun and Silver Oak trees. The coffee growing areas lie between 4000-4300 ft above mean sea level, and Arabica varieties like Hawaii Red Catura, Catimor, BBTC, S9 and Chandragiri are mostly grown here.
