Shivagange Estate

Shivagange Estate is situated amongst the Rudra Giri mountains in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. This quaint farm was established in the year 1944 and is currently run by the 4th generation of coffee farmers in the region. S795, Sarchimor, Chandragiri and Obata are some of the coffee varieties grown at this farm. The estate is dominated by traditional jungle varieties of shade trees interspersed with silver oak. They also have an abundance of birds and wildlife such as wild boars, gaurs, barking deers, Malabar squirrels, spotted deers, sambars, porcupines and the occasional tiger.
