Established by the British in the late 1880s, this lush 360-acre estate, located in Belur, Hassan, Karnataka, holds a legacy that spans generations. Salawara Estate has been nurtured and lovingly cared for by 3 generations of the Y K family.

Situated at an elevation of 3700 feet and nestled in the fertile embrace of the Western Ghats, this estate boasts 145 hectares of pristine land. Here, the coffee crop thrives in the gentle shade of the region's diverse flora, including pepper, areca nut, oranges, and silver oak trees. This harmonious intercropping creates a unique balance, infusing each coffee bean with the richness and heritage of the land.

Surrounded by five man-made lakes, Salawara Estate practices sustainable irrigation methods that enrich the local flora and fauna. This ecological balance beneath the earth's surface provides an intense depth and flavour to the coffee bean.

The commitment to quality at Salawara Estate is not just in the land and the process but also in the heritage and tradition that runs through its veins. In fact, in 2018, the estate was honoured with the "Best Quantity Bean Award" from the prestigious Ernesto Illy
