Kaivalya Estate is nestled among the rolling hills of Chikmagalur in Karnataka. Established in 1971, the 22-acre estate is run by the first generation of the Bhaskar family. The estate was named after the Sanskrit word Kevala, which translates to ‘oneness’. This holds great value for the folks at Kaivalya as they believe that a close connection to the natural ecosystem at the farm enhances one’s physical and emotional well-being. In addition to coffee plants, the estate is also home to trees like Silver Oak, Teak, and citrus. Animals like wild boars and the occasional tiger can also be found roaming near the estate.
