Recipe:
1 Fill the lower chamber of the moka pot with warm water, stopping just below the safety valve.
2 Place the filter basket into the lower chamber and fill it completely with 15–17 g of coffee. Use a WDT tool if available to break up clumps, then gently level the bed without tamping. Lightly tap to settle the grounds evenly.
3 Optionally, place an AeroPress paper filter below and above the coffee bed for a cleaner cup.
4 Screw the upper and lower chambers together firmly. You may want to use a towel if the base is hot.
5 Heat on low flame and allow the coffee to brew slowly. Keep an eye on the flow as it begins to rise.
6 When you notice sputtering or a sudden change in flow speed, turn off the heat immediately.
7 Let the remaining coffee pass through using residual heat, then pour into your cup right away to avoid over-extraction.
