Yelliemadaloo Estate, lies along the banks of the stream it’s named after. Located on the slopes of the picturesque Durgadabetta, in Chikmagalur, the estate grows both Arabica and Robusta, alongside pepper and areca nuts. Established in 1891 and subsequently acquired (and managed) by the Manamel family in 1938, the estate is spread across 550 acres perched at an altitude of 900-1000 metres.
The farm boasts of coffee plants as old as 50 years, and grows popular varietals such as S9, S795, Catimor and Caturra. In addition to shade grown arabica, Yelliemadaloo is home to black pepper, areca nuts as well as animals such as bison, barking deer, wild boar, and peacock. Our limited period seasonal coffee from Yelliemadaloo is a medium roast with gentle notes of yellow peach, milk chocolate, and roasted almonds.
