Cauvery Peak Estate

Cauvery Peak is part of MSP Plantations, a family of estates that has grown coffee in the Shevaroy Hills since the 1920s. Today, the fourth and fifth generations of the Rajes family continue their work. 

At 1,382 metres, the estate’s cool climate, bauxite-rich soils, and canopy of mixed shade trees create conditions well-suited to Arabica. Each stage of coffee processing, from hand-picking cherries to washing, sun-drying, and milling, is carried out under the family’s care. 

The estate focuses solely on Arabica, with Hawaiian Red Caturra as its hallmark variety. First introduced from Costa Rica in the 1960s, the variety produces coffee with a fine balance of acidity, body and delicate flavours.
