Blue Tokai Taster’s Club

Let our roasters guide you through the world of specialty coffee!

Our Blue Tokai Taster’s Club is an example of interactive exploration in a box. It’s an initiative to engage, educate, and create a community around coffee while understanding specialty coffee through unique tasting exercises developed by our roasting team. Our roasters will guide you through the different facets of specialty coffee and will share the decisions they had to make that influenced the flavour of the coffee that you’ll be tasting with each box.

You will receive a box themed around a different coffee topic each month. We’ll be covering everything from the basics of roasting to understanding different processing methods, and how all of this impacts the final flavours in your cup. The box and modules will be curated by members of the roasting team at Blue Tokai every month and will contain 3 different coffees for tasting, a handbook that delves deep into the theme for that month, and an exercise to try at home.

Each Taster’s Club member will also be invited to join an exclusive coffee community on a Discord server. The server will be a shared platform for continued engagement for the duration of the episode where members will be encouraged to share their results and experiences from the exercise, ask questions to our roasters. Each episode will also be supported with a video by our roaster who will guide you through the episode’s topic and exercise.
