The incoming summer has got us adding ice to our coffees! If, like us, you’re a manual brewer, we’ve got four exciting coffee recipes for you to try this summer. Go ahead, explore and have breezy (boozy, or not) fun!
The Zesty Orange Pour Over
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 orange
- 1 tsp honey
- 100 ml freshly brewed Pour Over coffee
- Soda
- Ice cubes
Stir the honey (or sweetener of your choice) into freshly brewed coffee. Squeeze the orange into a glass, add the ice cubes and soda, and lastly, pour the coffee slowly onto the ice cubes for a beautiful ombre effect. Stir before drinking and enjoy!
Banana & Ice Cream Moka Pot Coffee
What you’ll need:
- Freshly brewed Moka Pot coffee (we suggest Baarbara Estate)
- 1 frozen banana
- 100 ml milk (or vegan alternative)
- 50-70g vanilla ice cream
- 50-70g Ice
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk if the mix is too thick, and enjoy!
Bailey’s Irish Coffee Cocktail with Channi/Strainer (Alcoholic)
What you’ll need:
- A strong channi coffee brewed by using 2 tablespoon ground coffee and 1/4 cup water
- 20 g Baileys Irish Cream
- 50 g spiced water (prepare earlier with 10 peppercorns, 1 star anise, 1 cinnamon bark)
- 10 g condensed milk
- 50 g ice
- 100 g of Cold Brew Bold canned coffee
Blend all ingredients in a shaker, serve with a slice of cinnamon and cracked pepper.
Choco Chip Espresso
What you’ll need:
- 1 espresso shot
- 1 chocolate chip cookie
- 150 ml milk
- 50-70g vanilla ice cream
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk if the mix is too thick, and enjoy!
