Situated in Sirivase Village, Chikmagalur, Kuttinkhan Upper Estate is part of Kelachandra Coffee, a group of eight estates across Karnataka and Kerala.  

First established in the late 1800s and acquired by Kelachandra in 2017, it was one of the first in the group to earn the coveted Rainforest Alliance certification. Since then, the estate has been replanted with Chandragiri, a prime Arabica varietal. Coffee here grows alongside pepper, turmeric, and citrus, under the shade of native Ficus trees, some nearly a hundred years old. Their fallen leaves blanket the ground, slowly returning nutrients to the soil. 

The estate is also home to a range of wildlife, including gaurs, peacocks, honey bees, tigers, bears, wild boar and elephants.
