Gundikhan Estate

Nestled at an altitude of 1400 MASL in the Baba Budan Giri range of the Western Ghats, Gundikhan Estate reflects the diligent care of three generations of the producer, Saif Ulla’s family. Their commitment extends beyond just producing excellent coffee; it's about doing so while maintaining a symbiotic relationship with the environment.

Sharing boundaries with the Bhadra Tiger Reserve, Gundikhan acts as a wildlife corridor for a mesmerizing array of creatures, from Sambar and Barking deer to Elephants, Tigers, Leopards, and Indian Wild Dogs.

Beneath the canopy of indigenous trees, the estate produces coffee that embodies the blend of quality, sustainability, and the region's unique terroir. The diverse cultivation includes eleven fruits such as jackfruit, guava, papaya, and Indian gooseberry.

While Gundikhan Estate predominantly focuses on washed and natural Arabicas, recent seasons have seen experimentation with micro and nano lots. Innovative techniques like anaerobic fermentation, yeast-inoculated fermentation, fruit juice fermentation, and more have been employed, pushing the boundaries of coffee production.
