We are delighted to introduce you to Krishnagiri Estate, where the delicate art of coffee cultivation meets innovation. Nestled in the serene landscapes of Chikmagalur, Karnataka, at an elevation of 1500 m, this estate embodies four generations of expertise and a labour of love. Gaining elevation of over 300 m from the lowest to the highest point, this estate stretches its arms of lush greenery all the way up to the crisp, pure air with intoxicating aromas of wild figs, jackfruit, and wildflowers. The protective shield of jungle trees ensures the delicate coffee plants thrive, shielded from harsh elements.

A cutting-edge colour sorter, a first in Indian coffee estates, ensures that only the ripest cherries are selected to maintain unwavering quality. Crafted through meticulous steps—handpicking, manual sorting, fermentation, and sun drying—the result is a medium roast with enchanting tasting notes of caramel, brown spice, and mulberry, offering a syrupy mouthfeel. Every cup leaves a spicy aftertaste, inviting you to savour the essence of delicious coffee.

Blessed with fertile soil, ideal climate, and an abundance of shade-giving trees—this estate is managed by the fourth generation of a dedicated family. Here, the art of coffee cultivation is more than a tradition, it’s a testament to generations of expertise and a profound labour of love.

Brewing Method

  • Pre wet the filter paper, place it on the cap and lock into the chamber.
  • Add 16g coffee and start the timer.
  • Pour 50 ml water and swirl 5 times. After 30 seconds top up to 200 ml of water.
  • Put the plunger on top and press down slightly to create a vacuum.
  • After 2 min 50sec, start plunging slowly for 3sec.

Moka Pot

40-50 degrees Water Temperature

Brewing Method

  • Place warm water in the lower changed and add 18gm coffee in the filter.
  • Screw on top and place the stove on medium heat.
  • Remove from stove once you hear hissing sound. top up with water to taste.

Brewing Method

  • Rinse filter paper with hot water to pre-heat the cone.
  • Discard the waste water. Add 16g coffee and start the timer.
  • Pour 160 ml water and swirl the cone thrice. add 120 ml water and let it drip through.

Brewing Method

  • Add cold water to your machine.
  • Place 20g ground coffee in your basket and give a tamp and flatten your ground coffee.
  • -Insert handle into the machine and turn on to make espresso.
  • Start timer and stop machine a 4-5 seconds before recommended brew time as coffee will continue to drip through. If you are using scales the shot should weigh between the suggested range.
  • Add steamed milk or hot water to taste.
