Himalayan Farmhouse Cheddar
Inspired by the Swiss Gruyere, this cheese boasts a sweet nutty flavour. When aged for longer — between 3 to 15 months — the flavour gets stronger and more complex.
Nestled in the pristine environs of the Kumaon Himalayas, Darima Farms was established in the year 2016. It was Saurabh Vinayak and Arvind Chawla’s vision to set up a dairy and cheese making unit in this remote, beautiful location. Named after the village Darima, it is situated at an altitude of 7000 ft and is surrounded by thick oak and rhododendron forest.
