Instructor: Tyler Ritchie, Head of Roastery, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters.

It's a little known fact that coffee has more flavour and aroma compounds than wine, which makes coffee tasting, or cupping, an exciting way to hone your palate. Our Head of Roastery, Tyler, will walk you through the science behind variables such as water temperature, grind size, and pressure and how they impact the flavours in your cup. This session will help you get ahead in brewing by equipping you with troubleshooting tips & recipes that work best for you each time. It will also hone your palate so that you rediscover foods and drinks in an entirely new way!

We'll be demonstrating these principles using a Pour Over, Aeropress, French Press, and Channi, but the information you'll learn will apply to all brewing equipment. Each class has limited seats so that our instructor has a chance to engage with each participant. We'll be sending coffee to each participant so that everyone gets a chance to actively participate in the brewing session. Book soon before spots run out!
