Coffee Brewing 101

Our coffee brewing sessions are now online! You can now join our class from the convenience of your own home to learn about the science behind variables like water temperature, grind size, and pressure and how they impact flavours in your cup. Not only will this session help you troubleshoot brewing problems to ensure you figure out a recipe that works best for you each time, but it will also help you develop your palate to decipher flavours and textures like acidity or a syrupy mouthfeel. 


We'll be demonstrating these principles using a Pour Over, Aeropress, and French Press and Channi, but the information you'll learn will apply to all brewing equipment. We're keeping class sizes small so that our instructor has a chance to engage with each participant so book your space before spots run out! We'll be sending coffee to each participant so that you all get a chance to actively participate in the brewing part as well.
