We believe in building long term relationships with the farms that grow the coffee we love to roast. After tasting a range of coffees from each farm, we carefully selected our favourites.
The Biligiri Ranjan Hills, or “white hills”, are named after the mist that hangs over this region.
Baarbara Estate is owned by seasoned Chikmagalur based coffee cultivators M.G. Plantations.
Bynemara Estate is named after the Kannada word for caryota palm tree, which are found in abundance throughout the plantation.
Bibi Plantation is located in the heart of the Coorg coffee growing region in the Sunticoppa district of Karnataka.
The estate spread over 332 acres is situated at an altitude of 3300 ft – 3400 ft above sea level.
Kalledevarapura Estate dates back to the 1900s and was the first farm we visited before we launched Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters.
Karadykan Estate is a lush 620 acre farm located in Chikmagalur and is one of the four estates owned by Sangameshwar Coffee which also owns Attikan Estate.
Nachammai Estate is located 1400m up in the Sheravoy Hills, near Yercaud in Tamil Nadu. At only 24 acres, this is one of the smallest estates we work with.
Merthi Subbangudigy Estate (M.S. Estate)
M.S. Estate is located in the rolling Sahyadri range of the Western Ghats in Chickmagalur, Karnataka
The estate is more than a century old, and the original owner C.H. Godfrey sent the bulk of the coffee grown directly to London.

Medium fine grind for stovetop espresso makers, also good for single cup pourovers.
Used for drip filter machines and two cup pour overs, this is a medium coarse grind like rough sand.
Medium coarse grind, suitable for 1-2 minute brew times.
Coarse grind to ease filtration.
Very coarse grind, similar to sea salt.
