ERP Support Specialist

Job Description
Provides technical and functional support in the areas of: ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems administration,
problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training. Designs,
develops, test, deploy, and maintain data processing solutions to enhance the ERP systems.
Essential Functions
  • Assists in developing procedures to ensure integrity of ERP system and databases;
  • Coordinate and consolidate the required data from different departments like Vendor, Customer, Product master creation etc.
  • Provide ERP application support for all users across the company.
  • Partner with vendor regarding product roadmap, enhancement suggestions and support cases.
  • Monitor and identify problems in any of ERP system every day.
  • Assist Finance and Operational departments to train and instruct users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems, execute corrective action when necessary.
  • Develops and implements project plans for ERP functional support tasks;
  • Troubleshoots application software and database problems on a timely basis;
  • Maintains liaisons with business, technical staff/outsourced team, and extended support organizations for resolution of ERP issues;
  • Works with end-users to analyze, design, construct and implement small applications in support of regular business operations; documents applications and provides cross-functional training as needed;
  • Works with end users on all functional modules to document business needs/requirements for upgrades and enhancements;
  • Develops and presents training materials for end users;
  • Requires the kind of teamwork, supervision, and personal interaction;
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Skills and Abilities
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • ERP support and implementation experience (FMCG industry platforms preferred).
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting and internal controls (FMCG industry preferred).
  • Phenomenal problem-solving skills, drive to do things the right way and ability to prioritize/triage constantly evolving user needs.
  • Application testing, change and release management discipline.
  • Good presentation skills with ability to present to users and management (including the ability to communicate technical information to “non-technical” users, teammates, and senior management).
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Able to work in a support team environment.
